"Let's introduce ourselves to the class..."
Greetings and salutations, just your Typical Tass speaking. Some people call me Colby, others Tass, and sometimes people get creative and call me Colby Tass. I guess you could say I'm an artist of sorts, or an ex-psychology major who decided to give animation a shot. But in all seriousness, I love art and I love les dessins animés (forgot to mention I'm minoring in French). My dad still has a cartoon twelve year old me drew him as a birthday gift which consisted of roasting him for six panels. When you make something that brings others joy or a laugh, it gives you at least an ounce of happiness. In this class, I'm hoping to learn the basics of animation, improve as an artist, and overcome challenges that may arise along the way. And hey, I would rather spend hours at a computer drawing a million frames than listening to other people's problems.
